Tonight at the Installation of officers Past Grand Knight and last year's recipient of the Knight of the year presented this years Knight of the year award to Brother Knight Charles Melancon. Brother Charles has been a rock throughout Covid 19 not only for 4508 but St. Christopher the Martyr Parish. He has broadcast the stations of the cross via Facebook during the "lock down", all of the holy week masses as well, end of year school mass, and conformation. He also led a phone call tree to check on every brother in the council biweekly during the height of Covid 19. He continues today to live stream the 4:00 pm masses at church as well as live streams and leads the 7:00pm Friday night Council Facebook Rosary. " I would not be able to do the things I do without the support of each and everyone of the Brothers at 4508" Brother Charles Melancon was quoted saying this tonight.
