Outreach Program
During this holiday season, now more than ever,
many people within our parish are requesting food
boxes and assistance.
We welcome any food donations, which may be
placed in the foyer of the church before and after
Mass or dropped off directly to the rectory / church
office at 309 Manson Ave., Monday through Friday,
between the hours of 9:00 AM—4:30 PM or placed in
the driveway under the car port / covered area.
Please help us by checking expiration dates as we
are unable to distribute anything expired or out-of-
date.
If you are in need of food or assistance, please call
the Outreach Program Help Line at 504-831-7692 to
inquire about filling out an application. Please note
that you must reside within St. Christopher Parish to
qualify for assistance. We ask that if you reside
outside of St. Christopher Parish, to please contact
the appropriate Church / Parish Office in your area.
Canned/Jarred Goods
Fruits, Vegetables, and beans; Soups; Meats (tuna,
salmon, spam, chicken, beef, corned beef, etc.);
Tomato Sauce; Canned Meals (Ravioli, Spaghetti-
O’s, Chili, etc.); Pasta Sauce; Nutella, and Peanut
Butter & Jelly.
Drinks
Juice (powdered and non-refrigerated); Water; Sports
Drinks; Milk (powdered and non-refrigerated); Instant
Coffee; Tea; Kool-Aid.
Dry Goods
Rice, Pasta, Beans, Cereal, Jell-O, Pudding, Dried
Fruit, Snack Bars, Soup Mixers (Ramen, Lipton, etc.),
Crackers, Powdered Eggs, Stuffing Mix, Instant
Potatoes, Macaroni & Cheese, Noodles and Rice
Mixes (Rice a Roni, Pasta Roni, etc.), Boxed Meals,
Sugar, Flour, Pancake mix, etc.
